Do I need to pay tax on my order?
For US customers:
Since our head office is based in Canada, we do not charge any sales tax in the US.
For Canadian customers:
We are required to charge the provincial GST/HST tax (which varies) as required by law.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Once you’ve decided that you no longer want to keep your Midtown product, we’re happy to help you find the best solution for you or just initiate the return.
The easiest way to start a return is to go our return center and fill out the return form. You just need to have your order number ready to start the RMA. You will be given a shipping label and drop the box off at any FedEx location. As long as the product is still in working condition, we’ll process a full refund once we received the items back at our warehouse.

What products are eligible for the 10-Year limited warranty?
This warranty is available for all Midtown umbrellas’ frames and accessories as well as all Terylast fabrics. This warranty is not valid for Sunbrella canopies and fabrics. Read here for more information about what this warranty covers.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Once you think that your Midtown product is eligible for a warranty, we’re happy to help you find the best solution for you or just initiate the claim.
The fastest way to get started is to go to our return center and fill out a request for a warranty. To complete the claim, you will need your order number ready as well as a few pictures of the product’s condition. Our team will then contact you by email with the best solution for your situation.
If your claim gets approved, we will send out the replacement product immediately and provide you with tracking information.

Do I need to pay for shipping?
We offer free shipping to the 48 contiguous United States and most of Canada. We charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Northern Canada (Yukon, Northwest, and Nunavut territories). All return shipping is free.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
We give you the option to select if you’d like to sign for your package at checkout. If you’ve selected that option, then FedEx will need your signature to successfully deliver your package. Please note that FedEx will not let us remove the signature requirement once the package is in transit.
If you would like for FedEx to just lease your package outside your door, simply leave the signature requirement unchecked during check-out. With this option, Midtown is no longer liable for any loss or damage to the package after delivery.
