Both fiberglass and aluminum ribs are excellent choices, offering durability and long-lasting performance. Here's the key difference:

• Fiberglass Ribs: The better option for windy conditions. Fiberglass is more flexible, allowing it to bend and absorb wind without breaking. For high-wind areas, we highly recommend our Push and Pop™ umbrellas, designed for superior performance.
• Aluminum Ribs: Sturdy and lightweight, aluminum ribs are great for general use and provide reliable stability in calmer weather.

In short, fiberglass is best for wind resistance, while aluminum is a solid all-around option.
